ABC; The Reason For Many Broken Hearts
If you guys are anything like me, you enjoy a lot of ABC dramas. I've finally gotten around to watching the premieres of both Grey's Anatomy and Once Upon A Time. My question, by the end of both episodes, was do the creators do this to rip my heart out on purpose?! Shonda Rhimes was at it again, making fans of Grey's Anatomy cry like little girls. I'll admit, I was a little upset, just like most other fans, when Lexie Grey was killed off in the spring, but I felt that she gave Mark and Lexie fans a proper ending. Of course, it's awful losing McSteamy and all of his...charming scenes, but now he's with Lexie. Another shocker of the night is Arizona and her amputated leg! I was in complete shock....and in a way I felt awful for Callie. Not only did she lose her best friend (and her child's father), but now her wife is laying in bed, without a leg or a career, and Callie is having to act like everything is okay. Shonda, you've officially proven you have what it takes to break hearts around the world. You can watch Grey's Anatomy on Thursday nights at 9pm on ABC.
Another series I happen to adore is Once Upon a Time. I'll admit, I was one of those who cried within the first five minutes. How can you not when you see an entire family reunited? The premiere had twists and turns unlike any other. Rumpelstiltskin proved that he is up to no good with his magic by unleashing a soul-sucking beast to kill Regina...who was oddly enough protected by the Charming's themselves. Another amazing twist: Prince Philip, Princess Aurora, and Mulan are all still in fairytale land. Apparently, part of the land wasn't affected, but it's more dangerous than ever. In the end, Mary-Margaret (Snow White) and Emma Swan got thrust into fairytale land, while David and Henry are stuck in Storybrook with the lovely Regina. You can watch Once Upon a Time on ABC Sunday nights at 8pm.
